Meet Our Founder Mirae

Osteopath Mirae owns and operates a clinic in Melbourne’s south east. With over a decade of experience treating clients with postural discomfort, back and neck pain and workplace related strain, she knows thing or two about keeping the body happy.

Family experience in the industry meant Mirae was better equipped than most in ergonomic advice and product recommendations; this highlighted that there was a clear gap in how people are supported beyond the treatment room. Many health professionals are confident recommending exercises, pillows or braces to support recovery, but there is typically less certainty around office chair recommendations, despite clients sitting 8+ hours a day and the significant impact this has on their body.

This insight led to the creation of the Goldilocks range, designed to bridge the gap between clinical understanding and real world seating solutions.

What's In A Name?

Our company takes its name from the classic story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. In the well-known tale, Goldilocks tries different chairs, porridge and beds until she finds the one that feels "just right".

We think the same idea should apply to office seating, but in reality, trialling multiple chairs to find the right fit can be expensive, time-consuming, disruptive and unnecessarily wasteful.

The Goldilocks Range embodies that philosophy, simplifying the selection process and helping more people find their “just right” fit, without the guesswork. We are helping more people find their "just right" fit, without the guesswork.

Or simply opt for our Goldilocks Petite and Grande variants where the selections have been made for you!

We have created our hero product, the Goldilocks Ergonomic Chair as one office chair, designed to be customisable to suit any body - big or small, tall or short. We have then adapted this to create a more compact version in the Goldilocks Petite for our small statured friends, and a larger version in the Goldilocks Grande for our larger bodied friends, while ensuring we are not compromising on ideal ergonomics.
